Public Group active 1 month, 3 weeks agoFirkinFest, Grayshott’s Beer festival, includes outstanding musical entertainment and is held at Grayshott Village Hall at the end of October. In 2012 we hold our fourth festival on 26th & 27th October FirkinFest IV. The original FirkinFest was held in 2009 with headliners ‘The Upbeat Beatles’ and returned in 2010 with ‘The Rollin’ Clones’ and 2011 with ‘Rhapsody’. FirkinFest is organised by David Phillips, Peter Hatch, Tony Legat, Graham Pullen and is kindly supported by Village Hall Committee, The Fox & Pelican and our FirkinSponsors. This years Grayshott Beer Festival, FirkinFest III, was another outstanding success and attracted over four hundred festival goers who came to enjoy the many treats on offer. Beats Working on FirkinFriday night were superb and their rendition of Focusâs âHocus Pocusâ was amazing. Crouch Vale Brewery – Blackwater Mild (3.7%)
Smooth and malty dark mild for drinking in quantity! Fruity and full.
Dark Star Brewery – Oktoberfest (5.2%)
A cask version of the classic Oktoberfest-Märzen. Brewed with specially imported German malts, including Carahell and Cara-Munich for depth of colour and flavour. Noble hop varieties are added at three stage stages during the boil.
