Dear subscriber

And now for something completely different. It is now only two weeks, two days to the Grayshott Sunday Funday which happens on Sunday (no surprises there) 29th June. Over this weekend you will hopefully receive your hand-delivered leaflet explaining the full itinerary but for now what you need to know is;

Prepare yourself; friends, neighbours, work colleagues for the carnival procession which will be led by the fabulous Batala Portsmouth Samba Reggae Band sponsored again by the Fox & Pelican. This years theme of "Your Favourite Book" should inspire some top entries but hopefully not from the top shelf.

Buy your Grayshott Community Raffle tickets; now on sale throughout the village - over 30 local businesses have generously donated the prizes and you can see who and what by clicking here.

Help us out; as with all Party in Grayshott events they can only be staged with the aid of volunteers to help the PiG Committee prior to, during and after the event with Set-up, Raffle Tickets sales, Road Marshalling, Stewarding, bar, clear-up, etc. If you are able to help for an hour or two at the Sunday Funday please email david.j.phillips@btconnect.com, or call 01428 606036, with your name & contact details. David will then contact you in the next couple of weeks to discuss roles, times, etc.

Keep your fingers crossed; it would be nice if it didn't rain on our parade.

Have a good weekend - if you fancy it, please join me for a 50th birthday drink next Tuesday 17th June 7.30pm in the Social Club
