Dear subscriber

Last Sunday was the Grayshott Boundary Walk and there are some great Photos of the walkers and the wonderful countryside around us that is so often overlooked.

Don't forget tonight is film night as Movies in Grayshott show Mrs Henderson Presents at the Village Hall. Some tickets are still available (£5 & £4concessions) on the doors which open at 7.30pm - please give this your support.

I would love to go but tonight is also the make or break match for England against Tonga in the rugby world cup and as always it's being shown at Grayshott Social Club at 8pm where I'll be watching instead. I'd rather be at the Parc des Princes but at least the beer is cheaper and there will be no shortage of atmosphere.

The weekend is dominated by the final group rugby matches which sees all the major rugby nations securing their places in the quarterfinals. For some light relief from the tension there is a Disco @ The Social Club on Saturday and Live Music - Claire Phoenix Duo @ The Fox & Pelican on Sunday.

The Live Music with Vic & Friends @ The Social Club last Tuesday was better than ever and Mike Dawes wowed the audience with his amazing solo guitar performance - if you enjoyed that you'll certainly enjoy Vic's next music night Singer Song Writer Night @ The Fox & Pelican on Tuesday 2nd Oct.

Also at the Fox & Pelican next Saturday 6th is Vegas in Grayshott - Chase Charity Night @ The Fox & Pelican - should be a fun evening please get your £15 tickets in advance from the bar and buy some raffle tickets to win some great prizes. It's all for charity mate!

OK that's about all for this week and now I'm off to the loo - is it pre-match nerves? me nerrvousss? nope I mean later this afternoon at 3.30pm when MP James Arbuthnot officially opens the new Grayshott toilet block which also incorporates the new office for our Police Community Support Officer, Jim Leggat. Gentleman Jim held his first open afternoon yesterday - he makes a good cup of coffee - and he would like to tell you all about this new service in Jim's at Your Convenience

If you would like to post any items on the website, news, events, etc please simply send the details in a reply to this email.
