Grayshott has previously been awarded the title of "Best Village in Hampshire" in 2002 and also in 2005 when Grayshott was also chosen to host the award cermony Following the Hampshire awards Grayshott was entered into the national village awards and additionally presented with the prestigious award for "Best Village for Business in the Community in England & Wales" by HRH Princess Anne at a London ceremony in 2002 and then in 2005 for "Best Village for Business in the Community in South England" by no lesser celebrity than Alan Titmarsh.
