Another turbulent week for the stock markets another quiet weekend in Grayshott but not if you are a sports fan. All 4 SKY screened premiership football games and Englands return visit to France in the world cup rugby warm up's will all be shown at the Social Club - see below for fixtures and times - and whilst you are there pick up your tickets for their Summer Ball on Sat 25th August. With jazz/party/dance music from big band "251" and a buffet supper I'm sure this will be a great night out.

Last week I mentioned that the Red Sox gig had been cancelled - well it has now been moved to a New Date & Venue 8th Sep at Churt village hall tickets still on sale at Grayshott Books.

Last chance for golfers to join the BIG Charity Golf Day @ Hurtmore Golf Course on Wed 5th Sept - please let Dick Smith know asap if you want to take part as an individual or team.

Have you got your tickets for the Haslemere Beer Festival 2007 @ Haslemere Hall yet? I have ticket No.1 for Friday - now that's a first.

Tickets now on sale at Grayshott Books for the Party in the Piazza @ The Village Square on Sunday 9th Sep with lunch provided by the Village Kitchen Caterers along an Italian theme - this is the first event to start the fundraising for the Village Square Refurbishment.

Grayshott Scouts have organised another major Grayshott event this year to celebrate the scouting centenary and help raise some funds for good causes which could be your own so Join the Grayshott Boundary Walk on Sunday 23rd Sep and raise funds for your cause Now is the time to register and get those sponsorship forms around - apart from anything this will be a good opportunity to see parts of Grayshott never seen before
