Hello Grayshott Interweb fans So much going on at the moment I hardly have time to... so I'd better get on with it... The Grayshott Stagers production of the classic musical CAROUSEL is currently playing at the village hall - and what a delight it is! On the first night there wasn't a dry eye in the house as the full cast sung "You'll Never Walk Alone" to end a wonderful show. If you haven't been to a stagers production before or never seen Carousel performed live there will never be a better opportunity to go on this emotional ride. Hopefully there are still some tickets left for Friday or Saturday (check at the bookshop) or next week at Haslemere Hall. I urge you to hop on board...... ....then you won't miss possibly the best chat up line ever as Jigger Craighin explains the lengths he'd go to for Carrie Pipperidge... "I'd swim through a lake of beer with my mouth closed" - now that is devotion! Fortunately at the Beacon Hill Beer Festival there is no swimming involved - just great beers and live music. It all starts in time for "early beers" at 6pm on Friday 18th - see you there - with Grayshott band "Vic & Something 4 the weekend" playing later on - and I'm open mouthed as there is even a chance of a return visit from noon to midnight on Saturday. If that wasn't enough to contend with did you know the Queen is coming to Grayshott on Friday week too? Well virtually! The next Grayshott Movies Oscar winning production is The Queen and tickets are also from Grayshott Books. Did you miss 007 at Casino Royale? Well don't miss the Queen - the screen is excellent - there is a pay bar to get one into the regal spirit - and you will be most amused. Many will miss the royal visit, and some even the beer festival, to join in the celebrations for PK Pre-school's 20th Birthday Party @ The Club Many generations of Grayshott youngsters have benefited from PK over the last 20 years - hopefully some will return to sing Happy Birthday PK!
