Grayshott What's On!
August / September 2006
There isn't much going on but this Saturday (of the bank holiday weekend) at Grayshott Social Club there is some great live music from the 60's to the 90's with "Roll Up" - entry is free and everyone is welcome. Do come along - Our village Club wants to encourage more Grayshottians to enjoy it's many facilities - more of that later. The Club celebrated its centenary last year and currently has 600 members but is still considered the "best kept secret" in Grayshott - If you can't make the Open Day you are welcome to drop in at any time.
August has been very quiet with many folk away on their well earned annual hols.

There are still some - but not many - tickets left (from the bookshop) for the fabulous Jamie Moses "Red Sox" at Grayshott Village Hall on Friday 8th September. The PIG group will be running the bar to help raise more funds for village events so you can come along to enjoy some great music and support us too. Not to be missed!

On Saturday 9th September you are invited along to Grayshott Social Club in Hill Road to their.Open Day You will receive a complimentary welcome drink on arrival and be offered a guided tour of their superb facilities. A bouncy castle will be provided to keep young children amused and a BBQ, snacks and nibbles will be available throughout the day. You can try your hand at snooker, shoot some pool or enjoy the latest match on the HD plasma widescreen. The Club bar offers a great range of drinks including "Hogs Back" Real Ales at low prices and you are welcome to spend as much of the day there as you wish.
Following on from the Club Open Day there is a fabulous evenings entertainment including Live Music from "The Sisters of Soul" and Comedian & Impressionist Glenn Ford - a tribute to "Motown" and "Norman Wisdom" - it should be quite a night. Tickets are now on sale from the Club Bar and are limited so please get yours as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. £12.50 in advance or £15 on the door if still available.

As Autumn falls it's time to bring in the harvest and if you fancy a hoe down then get yourself along to the Barn Dance and Harvest Supper on Sat 16th Sept at Grayshott Village Hall
