grayshott.com was founded in the year 2000 with the aim of providing the village with a free and easy to use website, to help promote local events, and to provide all local businesses and organisations with a free webpage and web presence.
The website has been continually developed since then in response to the feedback from the many users who have suggested new ways of how it may best serve the village.
From its humble beginnings grayshott.com has grown in size and popularity and now receives around 500 visits a day.
The village website is updated on a daily basis from its many contributers and provides a facility for users to also post and view the noticeboard, messageboard, gallery, for sale, wanted marketplace, jobs & property sections.
Currently around 700 subscribers receive regular email updates on news and events including the weekly what's on! newsletter.
A number of sponsors and friends support the website which although continuing to be provided by voluntary effort still requires financial support to cover running costs, fund professional design and support where needed and to help with marketing and promotion.
