DRIVERS FOR GRAYSHOTT CARE

There are a group of volunteers who take Grayshott residents to keep appointments who are unable to get there on their own.
This may be due to an illness or injury of may be a temporary situation. For others it is ongoing and these residents often feel lonely and isolated.
We need more drivers, especially at this time of year.
For some people who live away from the centre of the village attending hospital, doctor's or dentist's appointments is a real worry. A visit to the chiropodist or hairdressers or perhaps getting the grocery shopping seems unachievable.
Grayshott prides itself on being a caring community.
If you drive could you spare some time to help'
It is not a regular commitment and you can say no if it is not convenient.
The more drivers that are registered, the less they will be asked to do! Expenses are paid at 30p a mile.
PLEASE give a few hours throughout the year to keep this valuable service going.
