30th dec - Girls from the Royal School quiz Grayshott shoppers - Girls from The Royal School's Prep 4 year group volunteered to help Grayshott Parish Council with some market research concerning the planned improvements for the Square. In groups of three they asked 38 passersby questions about the Square - how it is used, how often, etc - and received some very interesting answers! This feedback has been given to Grayshott Parish Council who were very grateful for the help, especially on such a cold day! more...
30th nov - Funds Pour in for Grayshott Square Refurbishment - The Grayshott Square Group would like to thank everyone who took part in the 'The Friday Painters' exhibition raising a further £403 towards the refurbishment of Grayshott Square. The event proved a great success with over 20 talented local artists eager for the opportunity to display their work. Feedback from visitors to the exhibition has been equally positive. more...
9th sep - Local Artists to Exhibit at GalleryOne for Grayshott Square - GalleryOne will be supporting the Grayshott Square Group by hosting 'The Friday Painters' exhibition; a collection of work by local independent artists. The exhibition will run from 14-18 October raising funds for the refurbishment of the Grayshott village square. 21st jul - Grayshott Square Dancing for Morris Men and Women - Early morning shoppers were treated to some traditional Morris dancing in Grayshott Village Square last Saturday as three teams stopped off on their way to the Pilgrim Folk Weekend at Thursley. The Pilgrim Morris Men (pictured above) who are based in Guildford and 'supported' by the Hogs Back Brewery in Tongham performed some olde Cotswold village dances to get proceedings underway. more...
19th jul - Mike gets on his Bike for the Barnardo's Borneo Challenge - On Saturday morning Mike Pennick was to be found cycling in Grayshott Village Square, not round & round, but in a fixed turbo trainer. Well wishers stopped by to offer some encouragement and to contribute to Mike's fundraising efforts towards his Barnardo's Borneo Challenge which he starts this September. more...
16th jul 2008 - The Square refurbishment project has been accepted into the Hampshire Country Towns Initiative Programme and has been awarded £20,000 out of this year's budget and the services of a landscape architect, to draw up plans, conduct surveys and provide costings to enable us to seek further funding. We are also very hopeful of a substantial award from next year's budget and are currently awaiting confirmation of this. The Initiative are anticipating the installation of the scheme late summer/autumn 2009.
21st may 2008 - Grayshott 'Paella in the Plaza' Fundraising Success - The Grayshott Paella in the Plaza fundraiser held in Grayshott Square was a great success with friends and family, great food and entertainment proving a winning formula once again. An overwhelming 150 guests attended helping to raise over £1,700 towards the village square refurbishment project. more...
29th apr 2008 - Grayshott Enjoys St George's Day Tea Party - Hundreds of villagers flocked to a sunny Grayshott Village Square to enjoy cream teas at the St George's Day Tea Party. Many volunteers served teas throughout the afternoon from the new Party in Grayshott marquee with funds raised from the day going to the Square Refurbishment Project. more...

21st feb 2008 - 'BIG' cheque for Grayshott Village Square - The "Buy in Grayshott" (BIG) campaign was delighted to present a cheque for almost £800 to the Grayshott Square Group. The money was raised from a collection following a very successful Carol Service in the Village Square on Christmas Eve last year, led by the vicar of St Luke's church, the hugely popular Rev Susan Wing. more...
5th feb 2008 - The Great Grayshott Pancake Race - The pancake race was organised by The Grayshott Square Group in association with Grayshott Parish Council to restore a once annual event in Grayshott. The Square now owned by the Parish Council made for the perfect venue with no worries about closing the road. more..
20th sep 2007 - Party in the Piazza fundraising success - The Grayshott Party in the Piazza fundraising event, held in Grayshott Square on Sunday 9th September was a great success. Around 150 guests attended helping to raise almost £1,500 towards the village square refurbishment project. Guests enjoyed a 3 course Italian style lunch provided by the Village Kitchen Caterers complete with carefully selected Italian wines more..

7th may 2007 - Grayshott Village Square Design Competition - Grayshott CE Primary School pupils were delighted to have the opportunity to play an important part in the Parish Council's consultation process for a new Grayshott Village Square Design.Colin Thompson of Grayshott Parish Council invited the pupils to come up with a creative design for how they would like the village square to incorporate their needs. more..
