Pantomime in Grayshott 2009 – Friday 13th and Saturday 14th March
The 2009 Pantomime in Grayshott will be held in the Village Hall on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th of March.
For 2009 Kate Mackie, a previous teacher at Grayshott Primary School and Grayshott Cubs current leader, will be directing the production which is again written by regular 'panto' cast member Diana Lovelock.
The pantomime is produced, directed and performed by residents of Grayshott and other local communities along with parents, teachers and pupils from Grayshott School. For the most part they are complete amateurs in the 'thespian' world but are happy to get up on stage once a year for the benefit of the local Grayshott community and Grayshott School. Over the years (2009 will be the 23rd!) this 'panto' group has seen members come and go and it is very important that new 'players' and helpers come forward each year to join the current incumbents and replace those who step down.
Involvement requires commitment by all concerned, in particular for members of the cast who will need to attend all rehearsals. Dates for the 2009 Pantomime in Grayshott are as follows: -

Help is needed in all areas, from front-of-house, costumes and props to set construction and actual performing. The Director only considers children, those above Year 6, and younger teenagers for roles if their parents are involved in the production and attend all rehearsals with them.
There will be an initial 'read through' of the script on Sunday 14th December to which all interested cast members are invited.
