Raise Money for your Cause at the Grayshott Boundary Walk

Once again the Grayshott Scout Group are organizing a Boundary Walk around Grayshott. This year the route is slightly different but is still about 8 miles.

This event will be an opportunity for organisations/clubs/groups to raise money for what ever purpose they like! How?

The Scouts will organise a 'sponsored' Boundary Walk around Grayshott on Sunday 3rd October 2010. The Scouts will mark and marshal the route, provide two start points and record all entrants as they pass check points. They will provide all sponsorship entrance forms, issue completion certificates and, where appropriate, facilitate the recovery of gift aid.

Each walker can raise funds from sponsors for whatever charity or organisation they wish - having made a donation to the Scout movement of £5 each or £10 for families.

So, a great chance to enjoy the wooded heathland walkways round beautiful Grayshott under the watchful eye of rangers and with medical support, refreshment stops and other interactive en route activities. A great day out bringing all the Grayshott societies together. The Grayshott Social Club have kindly offered refuge for walkers during the day and all participants will be offered a drink to help them on their way.

Walkers can register in advance - so that the Scouts can plan refreshments etc.
This can be downloaded from
www.boundarywalk.co.uk where you can also see the route.

Of course some may prefer not to raise sponsorship but just take this chance to do the Boundary Walk without the risk of getting lost! Hopefully such entrants will register and make a donation of £5 to the Scout Movement.

At the end of the walk all participants will be given a completion certificate.
