Party in Grayshott today presented Jon Hills, Grayshott Primary School Head teacher, with a cheque for £500. The donation is from the proceeds of the recent Pantomime in Grayshott – The Rock 'n' Horror Panto Show – which included members of the schools Gold Class (Year 6).

David Phillips, Producer of Pantomime in Grayshott and Party in Grayshott Secretary/Treasurer, explained that the link between the school and the Pantomime was an important element of the annual community event and one he hoped would continue.

"At Grayshott CE Primary School we put a big emphasis on the performing arts and we appreciate this annual opportunity to work with the village on such a polished public performance. This year we will be putting the money towards improving our school hall for drama by adding stage curtains to create different performance spaces. We are really grateful for the continued support of the community and this generous donation from Party in Grayshott," said Jon Hills Head teacher.

Party in Grayshott is a non-commercial, community based group that exists to promote arts & entertainment in the area and raise funds for local worthy causes; since 2001 it has donated over £18,000 to local community projects and groups.
