Charity Race Night to Raise the Roof for PK Pre-School

Phil WarehamIt's horse-racing season and although you might not fancy the royal box at Ascot this year, or trampling the divots at Aintree, don't hang up your hat and your race card yet.

PK Pre-School is holding a Race Night Fundraiser at Grayshott Social Club on 8 May 2010 to raise money to help repair their roof which was badly damaged during the recent snow.

The event promises to be a riot of fun, furlongs and finery as you are invited to back horses, sign up to be jockeys and trainers and gee on your favourites over pitchers of Pimms. There will be a buffet supper; every one's a winner 'balloon' raffle with some huge prizes and a late bar - all for £8 per ticket.

The race night has been partly sponsored by Churchill Retirement Living, the UK's fastest growing privately owned retirement housebuilder which specialises exclusively in apartments for those over 60 who want to enjoy an Independent, yet Safe and Secure retirement. Individual races have been sponsored by local businesses. Income from ticket sales and the raffle will go directly to PK.

PK is a community-run pre-school with charitable status. It is a hugely important part of Grayshott village and very well loved by past and present attendees and their parents. Please take this opportunity to support us, have a great night out and perhaps pocket some winnings and some prizes.

Tickets are now on sale from PK and Grayshott Primary school most afternoons. and Grayshott Social club. Places are limited to 80 so book now to avoid disappointment. For further ticket information please contact 07964 016504.
