Following a collection after the Carols in the Square evening, the fantastic sum of £700 was raised. This was passed on to Grayshott Day Centre and Arthritis Care Grayshott at the BIG meeting held in the newly refurbished Fox & Pelican on Tuesday evening
The treasurer of BIG Caroline Kaighin presented a cheque for £300 to Sybil Saunders and Joan Sims, who accepted it on behalf of the Arthritis Care Grayshott. Sybil Saunders was delighted with the donation and told BIG members that it would enable the group to afford more speakers at their meetings.
Caroline then presented a cheque for £400 to Helene Sanderson, who accepted it on behalf of Grayshott Day Centre. She said it would make a huge difference to the group and meant they could go ahead and plan a summer outing for them.
