Morris dancing is quintessentially English, a part of the rural fabric, as unchanging as village green cricket ...until a young morris man, Derecq Twist, leader of the long established Millsham Morris, introduces new steps. The governing body, the Morris Circle, is shocked with the advent of Extreme Morris and imposes the ultimate sanction - rustication. The Circle's sentence is passed just before Derecq is about to perform his life's ambition, the legendary Threeple Hammer Damson.

This very English comedy stars Derek Jacobi, Ian Hart, Naomie Harris, and Charles Oldham Thomas as Derecq Twist. If the rest of the world fails to understand 'British Humour', Morris will definitely add to their confusion.

Movies in Grayshott is thrilled to be able to present Morris: A Life with Bells On at their next screening on Wednesday 17 March 2010 at Grayshott Village Hall. Doors open at 7.30pm, with the presentation starting at 8.00pm. Ice-creams, light refreshments and the bar will be available as usual.

Movies in Grayshott is a not-for profit organisation, run by local volunteers. We aim to show the best in recent feature films of all types, usually several months after the films have been initially released in the cinemas.
