Grayshott Stagers Announce Cast for 'Dark Lucy'

At their recent auditions the Grayshott Stagers had many talented people trying out for their November production of the 'Hitchcock' style thriller 'Dark Lucy' written by Philip King and Parnell Bradbury and directed by June Hegarty.

The final cast sees John Dowsett in the role of The Reverend Gavin Clevedon, vicar of a small Sussex village; Carol his wife, a highly strung retired acctress, is played by Brezetta Thonger. John Hilder has been cast as Dr Thomas Vann with Jane Clayton as Lucy Manning. Mrs Wilson will be played by Pauline Harries and Edward Hastings by Mike Pennick. Finally Grace Roberts, the daily help is Angie Hilder

When Carol, the highly-strung ex-actress wife of the Vicar, complains hysterically that she has been assaulted by 'Dark Lucy' - an unpleasant old village woman who lives in a dirty broken down cottage - the doctor is inclined to put it down to hallucinations and she is believed by nobody. But when another young girl disappears Carol decides to investigate what goes on in the old cottage. What she discovers exceeds her wildest nightmares.
