Movies in Grayshott latest "Creation"

"Creation" is the next film to be shown by Movies in Grayshott on Wednesday, 20 January at Grayshott Village Hall. The film is about Charles Darwin and his struggle to overcome his own demons over the loss of a daughter and to keep the love of his deeply religious wife. In the meantime the scientific world is pressing him to complete his masterwork "On the Origin of Species".

Benedict Cumberbatch plays Charles Darwin, with Jennifer Connelly as his wife. Martha West plays Darwin's young daughter, Anne, whilst there are also supporting roles for Jeremy Northam, Jim Carter, Paul Bettany and Toby Jones. The film depicts the emotional grief of Charles Darwin following the death of his daughter and also the conflict between science and religion.

Doors will open at 7.30pm, with the presentation starting at 8.00pm. Ice-creams, light refreshments and the bar will be available as usual.

Cinema tickets are priced at £5.00, or £4.00 for under 16s, and are available from
Grayshott Books
(tel: 01428 604798) or on the door.
