Mums in the Surrey and Hants areas may be in for a treat this Mother's Day. A new initiative launched by Grayshott Pottery, will give customers of all ages, the chance to have a go at creating a 'work of art' by painting either a mug or a plate for their Mums on Saturday March 6th.
Participants will be given either paintbrushes or sponges to create their gift, under the watchful eyes of the Pottery's seasoned artists. The finished pieces are then expected to be fired during the week, ready for collection from Friday 12th March, just in time for Mother's Day on Sunday 14th March.
Ed Snell, Managing Director of Grayshott Pottery said "This is the first time we have offered an event of this sort and are really looking forward to seeing lots of creativity!"
'Paint a gift' costs £12 per person and advance booking is essential. The organisers ask that all under 16s are accompanied by an adult.
For bookings on March 6th from 10am to 4pm, or for further information please contact Grayshott Pottery, School Road, Grayshott GU26 6LR on 01428 604404.
