The beers are tapped and everything is now set for a fabulous 'FirkinFest' debut as Grayshott's first beer & cider festival is due to get underway at Grayshott Village Hall tonight (Friday 30th Oct) at 6pm.

FirkinFest promises to offer something for everyone with thirty award winning real ales & ciders, all at just £2.50 a pint, a selection of wine & soft drinks, great food from the barbeque, and live music at each of the three sessions.

The festival opens on Friday 30th October at 6pm with live music during the evening from The Claire Phoenix Band, playing chic, sophisticated, mellow soul, pop and jazz to accompany the selection of refreshments on offer. FirkinFest continues on Saturday at noon with foot tapping jazz numbers from Binky's Dixie Demons during the afternoon, and concludes on Saturday night with the ultimate tribute band 'The Upbeat Beatles'
