A former work experience student at Grayshott Pottery recently celebrated her art at the Wey Ceramics Exhibition "Spring Fever", which took place at Guildford House Gallery, in Guildford, this month.
Veronica Tabbush of Farnham, who graduated from the University of Wales Institute in Cardiff in 2007, now works from a studio, in her parent's converted conservatory. However, she has kept close associations with the Pottery and now regularly fires her sculptures in the kilns there.
"The latest piece that I have made is very big and too heavy for me to carry, so I've been relying on my Dad and Glenn, from Grayshott Pottery, to carry my sculpture between my Dad's car and the kiln," said Veronica. " I am really grateful to the Pottery for all their help with my work".
Glenn Myers, Production Manager for Grayshott Pottery, said, "It has been a real pleasure to help Veronica in this way and we wish her every success for the future."
The Wey Ceramics Exhibition, "Spring Fever" is one of the many art exhibitions being held at the Gallery over the Spring Summer. For further details please call Guildford House Gallery on 01483 444742.
