School Children help launch Greening Grayshott Campaign
The Greening Grayshott launch at St Luke's Church on Saturday 21st March was a great success as visitors were given the opportunity to hear the views of local children on Greening issues.
Children from Grayshott Primary School had made a video to be shown at the launch and drawn posters on many of the Greening challenges with the best three posters recieving prizes.
Grayshott Cub Scouts gave a demonstration on just how much water is wasted if the tap is left running whilst brushing your teeth.
Cards listing greening challengeshave been distributed to all houses in the village to encourage everyone to play their part.
Organiser of the campaign Roy Fudge said "This is a community challenge to show how Grayshott can conserve energy, many of the challenges will already have been done by many households but this should not stop them from joining this campaign and allowing us to measure how Green Grayshott is in all senses!"
