The National Spirit of Fire award is the national award ceremony that recognises the bravery of the UK Fire and Rescue Services and dedication to the Fire Fighters Charity.
The gala event was held at Wembley Stadium and the awards were given by many celebrities who wished to acknowledge the work of the Fire and Rescue Services.
Representative from Hampshire were also part of a party invited to a reception at 10 Downing Street and met with the Prime Minister.
Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service was nominated for two awards and won both, the 'Brigade of the year' and 'Supporter of the year'.
Two local Firefighters from Grayshott were part of Hampshire Fire & Rescues Ladies Driving Challenge team that one supporter of the year
The team was rewarded for being the highest earning Ladies Driving Challenge event in the UK having raised in excess of £100,000 to date. This event had become a beacon of best practise with many other regions now following to create similar events.
