Grayshott Little Sunflowers (formerly Grayshott Pre-school Playgroup) has bid a fond farewell to their Deputy Supervisor, Mrs Fanny Jones, who has retired after working there for 27 years.

Parents, staff and pupils from past and present attended the retirement party at Grayshott Village Hall on Saturday 18th July, where they enjoyed a cream tea celebration and presentation of a commemorative silver tray and gifts to Mrs Jones. Pre-school Supervisor, Mrs Bridget Mitchell and Janet Sarkar, parent & committee Chairperson, gave speeches to thank Mrs Jones for her dedication to the hundreds of children she has taught over the years.

The village hall was beautifully decorated with sunflower-yellow balloons and streamers donated by Magical Rooms of Grayshott. Facepainting and activities for the children certainly ensured that everyone had a great time.
