Grayshott Fire Station has been held up as a shining example to others after winning an award for its high performance.
The retained station has achieved Beacon status, given to those that set the standards for the service.
Grayshott's fire-fighters will now be given additional resources to acknowledge their hard work and demonstrate to other stations the benefits of performing consistently well.
Deputy Chief Officer Dave Curry, Director of Service Delivery, said: "I congratulate Grayshott Fire Station on becoming one of two retained stations to be the first to achieve Beacon Station status. This award is testament to the hard work and commitment shown by everyone at the station.
"I look forward to seeing other stations achieving the status in the future, and to the real improvements that will be seen as a result to the service we deliver. "
Grayshott Fire Station has received the award for consistently high performance during the six months from February to July 2009 and therefore becomes a Beacon Station from 1 November 2009 to 31 October 2010.
The key to Grayshott's success will be shared across the service so that improvements can be achieved right across the county.
Pete Norman, Officer in Charge at Grayshott Fire Station, said: "I attribute the success to the diverse attitude and enthusiasm of the crew; we participate in a broad spectrum of initiatives which include operational response and community safety.
"None of this could have been achieved without the assistance of our group manager, training instructor and administrative support. I am hopeful we can grow on this success and play our part in helping the service to achieve its corporate objectives."
