The newly re-launched Movies in Grayshott will be showing their first mid-week film on the evening of Wednesday 25 March 2009, doors opening at 7.30pm. The first of these mid-week films is Easy Virtue, staring Jessica Biel, Colin Firth, Kristin Scott Thomas and Ben Barnes.
The film is the most recent interpretation of Noel Coward's witty social comedy. Set in the roaring twenties, it revolves around a most enjoyable culture clash between dusty landed English aristocrats and a bohemian American.
 On a trip to France, John Whittaker (Ben Barnes), a young English man, falls head over heels in love with a sexy, impossibly glamorous American, Larita (Jessica Biel) and they marry on impulse. When he arrives back at the family's stately pile, brandishing his new wife like a trophy, he finds a less that warm reception. John's mother, Veronica (Kristin Scott Thomas) takes an instantly sniffy dislike to Larita and what follows is a delightful battle of wits as the two women employ fair means and foul to gain the upper hand.
Doors will open at 7.30pm, with the presentation starting at 8.00pm. Ice-creams, light refreshments and the bar will be available as usual.

Movies in Grayshott is a not-for profit organisation, run by local volunteers. We aim to show the best in recent feature films of all types, usually several months after the films have been initially released in the cinemas.
The films will be shown at the Grayshott Village Hall, providing an opportunity for residents of Grayshott and the surrounding areas to make use of the village hall, with its licensed bar, and enjoy a film in the company of friends and family.
