The Grayshott Christmas Card delivery service was launched this week by vicar of St Luke's Church, Moray Thomas (pictured right).
Moray said "Last year over 700 Christmas cards were delivered using the service which also aims to raise funds towards the running costs of the church."
Organiser Gordon Sanderson said "This year we hope to do even more! We will not be on strike and as for modern innovations to replace manpower we are the opposite - we as a Church are always hoping for more manpower!!"
Using the service is easy;
Sheets of the special stamps can be bought from Grayshott Books, Kaighin & Daughter, Business Connections, Grayshott Social Club and at various village events as we build up to Christmas.
Christmas Cards can then be posted in the Post Boxes positioned in Grayshott Books, The Village Post Office (a special box and not to be confused with the official one) Business Connections and of course The Church. Maybe even one in the Social Club and The Fox & Pelican if the Landlords permit.
At a minimum donation of £4 per sheet of 18 stamps this delivery service is excellent value. 22p per card is all it will cost and all cards will be delivered before Christmas.
Once again the project is sponsored by Kaighin & Daughter and this year with printing support from Keith Cox at Business Connections.
