The Fab Four tribute band the Upbeat Beatles stole the show on the final evening of the first FirkinFest held at Grayshott Village Hall, as a packed audience enjoyed over two hours of dancing to the authentic sounds of the Mersey Beat.
This followed on from a relaxing Saturday afternoons listening to jazz from Binky's Dixie Demons whilst sampling the delicious selection of real ales and ciders.
FirkinFest opened on Friday 30th October with an excellent performance from The Claire Phoenix Band adding to the convivial atmosphere.
Also star performers at the festival were the twenty three real ales and six ciders, which were all available at a very reasonable £2.50 a pint, and enjoyed from a stylish souvenir festival glass.
Many festival goers have already emailed in their notes of thanks and these can be viewed, and added to, on the FirkinBlog

Organisers would like to thank Party In Grayshott and Grayshott Village Hall for their support, their main sponsors The Fox & Pelican, the FirkinSponsors, the many helpers and all those who came along to support Grayshott's first FirkinFest.
Considering this was the first beer festival organised in Grayshott it was very well attended and organisers are already planning FirkinFest 2010
