The pupils were presented with awards and prizes from a number of supportive school and village groups, including the PTA and Governors, Grayshott Decorative & Fine Arts Society, Grayshott Gardeners, Grayshott Pottery and the Parish Council.

To ensure that all the leavers left with something, neighbour Grayshott Pottery, gave all the leavers a special 'named' school mug. For Phil Bates, Trustee of Grayshott Pottery, who presented the mugs with pottery maker, Robyn Clarke, this marked the 30th year that the Pottery had supported the school in this way.

"We are again delighted to support Grayshott Primary School and hope that the children will look after their mugs and that they will be reminded of their special time at this magnificent school", said Phil Bates, Trustee of Grayshott Pottery, "My son left some 27 years ago and still has his tea out of his!"'

After the event, Headmaster Jon Hills said,
"I would just like to wish all the Year 6's every success in their move to Secondary School and hope that they will be very happy. We are very privileged to have such wonderful support from the village. I would like to say a special thank you to the staff of our terrific neighbour, Grayshott Pottery, who give us continual support in many aspects of our school life and are very important to us."
