On Saturday 5th April 2008 Movies in Grayshott will, for the first time, be showing two movies - the classic Jane Austen film Pride and Prejudice and the action movie, The Bourne Ultimatum.
Pride and Prejudice, based on Jane Austen's beloved novel, the classic tale of love and values unfolds in the class-conscious England of the late 18th century. The five Bennet sisters , including strong-willed Elizabeth (Keira Knightley) and young Lydia (Jena Malone), have all been raised by their mother (Brenda Blethyn) with one purpose in life: finding a husband. When a wealthy bachelor takes up residence in a nearby mansion, the Bennets are abuzz at the prospect of new suitors. But when Elizabeth meets up with the handsome and seemingly snobbish Mr. Darcy (Matthew Macfadyen), the battle of the sexes rages.
Doors will open at 2.45pm, with the presentation starting at 3.00pm. Light Refreshments will be available,
The evening presentation is the all-action movie, The Bourne Ultimatum, staring Matt Damon, who returns as the highly trained assassin Jason Bourne. Bourne is on the hunt for the agents who stole his memory and true identity. With a new generation of skilled CIA operatives tracking his every move, Bourne is on a non-stop race around the globe as he finally learns the truth behind his mysterious past. Loaded with incredible fight and chase sequences, this is an exhilarating movie with great action scenes. Not one to miss!
Doors will open at 7.30pm, with the presentation starting at 8.00pm. Ice-creams, light refreshments and the bar will be available as usual.
Cinema tickets are priced at £5.00, or £4.00 for under 16s, and are now available from Grayshott Books (tel: 01428 604798) or on the door.
