Grayshott Village Website Nominated for Hantsweb Awards 2008

The Grayshott village website www.grayshott.com has been nominated in the 2008 Hantsweb Awards which celebrate excellence in website design, accessibility and service.

Nominations for the awards, which have been running since 2002 and are open to any website based in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, are now closed.

Those nominated are in the process of being assessed by judges with expertise and experience in their chosen field. Overall they will look for good practice, accessibility, ease of use, relevance, and, of course, great design.

The standard of this year's nominations has been as high as ever with over 1,100 entries received - an increase of over 200 from last year.

The nominated websites will be shortlisted into top tens for each categories and the shortlisted sites for each category will be published sometime in the first week of September.

The judges will then look at each of the top tens and select three finalists for each category who will receive an invite to the prestigious Hantsweb Awards ceremony on the morning of 4th November at the new Planetarium at Intech in Winchester.
