Grayshott Cricket Club received some excellent news recently with confirmation that it had successfully gained its Clubmark re-accreditation and in doing so was the first club in Hampshire to achieve this distinction. After being one of the first clubs to achieve accreditation back in 2005, Grayshott CC, along with all Clubmark accredited clubs, have seen the increased expectations placed upon them so Grayshott is very proud that all the hard work put in, by the youth coaches and other volunteers, has been rewarded.
The Club recently received a visit from Greig Stewart, Hampshire Club Development Officer at the Rose Bowl, who commented as follows:-
" I am impressed with the structure and content of the training sessions and was pleased to see a junior match being played on a Saturday morning.
There was a really good feeling about the club and the feedback from parents was excellent.
Grayshott has become one of the premier clubs in the county and it is no surprise that you are the first club in Hampshire to achieve Clubmark Re-accreditation.
My thanks go to the committee and the coaches for their contribution to the development of cricket in Hampshire."
