Movies in Grayshott is run by a small group of volunteers and operates on a 'not for profit' basis. Formed in early 2007, Movies in Grayshott purchased high definition projection equipment and a 5-metre screen to give the audience the feel of a real cinema. The ambience is further enhanced by the sale of refreshments, confectionary and ice cream before and during the interval. An added bonus, not offered by most cinemas, is that there is also a licensed bar. All films shown by Movies in Grayshott have been licensed by the studio distributors and are identical to the cinema release.
