The annual Grayshott Fire Station ball at The Old Thorns raised a staggering £1,040 towards the Atherstone-on-Stour Firefighters' Appeal for the Firefighters who tragically lost their lives last year.

Watch Manager Peter Norman launched the proceedings by asking for donations towards a bingo tournament, raising £400 The winner of the tournament Firefighter Jeff Mills immediately donated £100, followed by local businessman Andy Clague who gave £50 on behalf of Trusted PC Man.

Grayshott Golf Society who raises money for charities, through their golf days, decided that this year a portion of the money should go to the appeal and donated £350. Finally the hosts The Old Thorns at Liphook donated £200

A massive thank you to the generous donations for this very worthy appeal.
