As many of you know Grayshott's Firefighters have been instrumental in the success of the Hampshire Fire & Rescue annual Ladies Driving Challenge at Farnborough. In recognition of their contribution and the significant sum of money this event raises for charity they where nominated for a number of awards and to a reception with the Prime Minister earlier this year.

Recently Local Fire fighter Mark Brittain was interviewed by Georgy Palmer for BBC1 South Today and all of his colleagues at the fire station were mighty jealous. Peter Norman Officer in Charge of Grayshott Fire Station Officer said "a lot of people know Mark as he tends to be our spokesman at public speaking oppurtunities and we're all really pleased to get the footage. We have been involved in organising the Ladies Driving Challenge since it started 4 years ago and a number of us are looking forward to going over this Sunday to help out with the running of the event."

For those of you who missed the footage that was shown yesterday you can see it via the BBC South Today website http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7662194.stm
