PAUL TREASURE
New Landscapes

10 April - 3 May 2008

GalleryOne in Grayshott, Surrey will be hosting an exhibition of new paintings by the respected landscape artist Paul Treasure. Paul's previous GalleryOne solo exhibition in 2006 was extremely well received, resulting in a complete sell out. Marian Orchard-Webb, GalleryOne Director said "Paul's work never fails to impress. Since returning from his recent sabbatical to India, Paul has been painting furiously and his new pieces have a vitality which is irresistible."

Paul is passionate about the landscape; the majority of the paintings in this exhibition are inspired by the South Downs and the surrounding Hampshire countryside where he lives with his family. He enjoys walking in the area and either painting on location or from memory. He works mostly with oil on canvas from his beautiful garden studio where he surrounded by light and the elements of nature. Paul's work continues to push the boundaries of abstraction whilst remaining firmly rooted in reality.

The exhibition runs until 3 May 2008, is free to visit and all work is available for sale.
