Tony Royall has picked up his tenth award for winning the annual "Grayshott Pottery Darts Tournament" held at Grayshott Social Club. The prize, made and sponsored by Grayshott Pottery, who have supported the awards for the last 25 years, was a hand painted award plate.
Adding the tenth plate to his impressive collection Tony said "I'm really proud to have managed ten wins at the Grayshott Pottery Darts tournament and I'm pleased to say that darts continues to grow in popularity and particularly at our club where we have excellent facilities with four boards in our spacious function room. We enter several club teams into local dart leagues each year including Steven Boag, Selsden Allee, and the ladies Rose Dart league as well as running a social summer darts league for club members and throughout the year a 'last Sunday of the month' mixed competition."
Phil Bates, Trustee for the Pottery said, "Many congratulations to Tony for achieving the club record of 10 wins, this is going to be a tough one to beat! The Pottery has a long association with this event and is again delighted to support the club in this way as they are an important part of Grayshott Village life."
