Grayshott's Clive Foskett, Chief Executive of Signature Publishing Ltd was recently awarded the Individual Achievement award at the Independent Publishers Advisory Council award ceremony the Oscars of the publishing world. As Chief Exec, Clive has overseen the launches of six new magazines since setting up offices in Grayshott in 2006, where a total of nine magazines on everything from horses to homes and Christmas to children's crafts are published. This award recognises the hard work and dedication Clive has for publishing great magazines, which rival and outsell titles from some of the UK's biggest magazine publishers.
Signature Publishing was shortlisted for no fewer than five awards at the prestigious ceremony. Editor, Alison Bridge was nominated for Editor of the Year for her work on Horse&Rider Magazine, which was also shortlisted for Consumer Magazine of the Year following great success on the newsstand in 2007. Clive Foskett was highly commended in the Publisher of the Year category at the PPA awards for his insightful management of Horse&Rider Magazine, which is now the UK's No 1 equestrian monthly magazine.
