Encouraging businesses to provide "Access for All", is the aim of an award initiative now in its second year.
This year's top Access to Service award, has been won by Bordon business, Bob's Taxi, who scooped the coveted prize and wooed the judges with his friendly and fully accessible London taxi cab service.
The Access to Service Awards were celebrated in the Alton Maltings Centre this year, and were created and co-ordinated by Ian Speed for the disability empowerment organisation, TACT South.
The awards have been funded by South Downs Association for Disabled People, Community First East Hampshire and East Hampshire District Council and supported by local business Grayshott Pottery, who made and donated commemorative plates for all the winners.
Phil Bates, Trustee from Grayshott Pottery said, "The staff at Grayshott Pottery, are again delighted to support these wonderful awards and hope that more businesses will join in with this great initiative next year."
Grayshott Pottery is employee owned and is run under a "Trust" arrangement that was brought into operation within the last 12 months. In April 2007 Grayshott Pottery won "Most Proactive Business in the Community 2007" Haslemere & District Chamber of Trade.
