Grayshott Concerts is heading for another sell-out event when it's largest ever orchestra lines up to perform on Saturday 12th April at St Luke's Church.
The event, called Look! It's Bruch!, will feature local star violinist Martin Smith performing Bruch's famous Violin Concerto No.1 in G minor. Martin, who now performs with a number of the world's top orchestras, grew up in Headley Fields and is making a welcome return to Grayshott where he previously delighted audiences in Bach's Double Violin Concerto and Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante.
"I'm really looking forward to returning to home ground in Grayshott," he said. "The audiences at St Luke's are so welcoming and appreciative - probably more so than at any other world venue I've performed in."
The New London Sinfonia under conductor David Gibson will assemble 34 players for the concert which will commence with Mozart's Overture to 'Cosi fan tutte', and Mozart's brilliant Symphony No.41 'The Jupiter' as the finale.
Only a handful of tickets at £17.50 & £15 are still available on 01428 606666 or at www.grayshottconcerts.co.uk or in person at Blaze House Art in Crossways Road.
The event is sponsored by Applegarth Farm and by Huntington House Nursing Home.
