Shoppers are set for a personal and charitable treat when they take part in Grayshott Pottery's exclusive shopping evening. On Wednesday 14th November from 6pm to 9.30pm shoppers will be entertained as they shop in the pottery's extensive gift shop and gallery. 10% of proceeds from the evening will go to the aid of G.U.T.S, a local charity that raises funds for bowel cancer screening and shoppers will benefit from a 'goody bag' and some little treats whilst they shop. Organisers are also planning to run a 'half hour raffle' with pottery and gifts up for grabs every 30 minutes of shopping and shoppers will be able to watch 'pot throwing' first hand.

Grayshott Pottery, who this year won 'Most Pro-active Business in the Community' from the Haslemere and District Chamber of Trade, has a history of active community support and Chairman and Trustee Phil Bates expressed his delight that the pottery is able to support the work of G.U.T.S. He said, "Everyone at the pottery is thrilled to be able to support this really worthwhile cause. We have friends and colleagues from all around Surrey and Hampshire who have benefited from the screening that this charity offers and there is no doubt that it has saved lives. We very much hope that everyone will enjoy the evening and get some of their Christmas gift shopping done at the same time!"
