Grayshott Gardeners BIG Plant sale

Grayshott Gardeners are one of the first clubs to make use of Grayshott's new acquisition the Square. It was decided that given the right weather conditions we would hold our annual plant sale in the square.

Olive Robinson then proceeded to buy approx 1400 plug plants which almost single handed she potted on tended and watered into the large numbers of plants which were sold on the stalls. In addition to Olives efforts Vanessa Thompson raised 100's of hardy plant for sale.

Members of the club including the committee also helped in supplying more plants and manning the sales tables.

On the day I personally thought we had too much stuff for us to sell!! How wrong can you be by the official opening time 10am half the stock was gone and we had sold out by 12 o'clock, his is what the Parish Council must have wanted when they purchased the Square and I think we have shown other Grayshott Organisations what is Possible.

I end with Olives hearty thanks to her committee, MR and Mrs Coates, Mr and Mrs Jordan and Liz Pennick. The pictures give some idea of the crowds.
