Grayshott Village Jamboree needs you! Pictured here are the maypole dancers from Grayshott School at last years Grayshott village jamboree It's that time of year again when the Party in Grayshott committee members are busily working towards this year's JAMBOREE to be held on Saturday 23rd June and we need your help to make it the best day ever. Stalls We hope you all enjoyed last year's event about which we received fantastic feed-back and also several suggestions to make it even better, including a request for more STALLS from local groups and societies. We thought that was an excellent idea and we are now approaching all local businesses and organisations to see whether they would be interested in setting up a small stall / table at this year's event. You may have items you wish to sell to help raise funds for your particular organization, or you may just wish to publicize (to an expected attendance of several thousand!) your community group. Whatever it is, we would be delighted to have you there on the day. We will not be making a specific charge for a stall - we merely ask that you make a donation from any 'takings' on the day. If you would like to hold a stall please contact Gillian Chard Tel 605005 or email pig@grayshott.com to discuss we'll be very happy to hear from you. Please help us to make the day even bigger and better for everyone attending. Community Raffle Each year PIG raises funds to support their free events by holding a community raffle and now is the time we approach local businesses and organisations for help with donations for the raffle. Donating a prize is a brilliant way of getting free publicity and possibly new clients too for your business. Obviously the best type of gift to offer us would be something that attracts the winner of your donated prize to visit you – perhaps you could offer a voucher for a free hairdo or beauty treatment, maybe a product – dinner for two, bottle of perfume, DIY tools, or how about a voucher, say to the value of £20 (or more!) towards a purchase in your shop. Make people want to win!!! Donate more than one prize if you can!!!
