**BIG Charity Golf Day a Winner for Macmillan Cancer Support**
The Posties win the team prize at the BIG Golf Day - Noel Reidy, Kelvin Hughes, Tony Stocks, Nicky Butt All photos taken by Phil O'Connor Dick Smith coordinator of BIG (Businesses in Grayshott) welcomed 40 players to the BIG Charity Golf Day, sponsored by Grayshott Pottery on Wednesday 5th September. 10 teams enjoyed a great afternoon of golf followed by a wonderful evening of fun & food, not to mention the booze! John Lee from the Hindhead Ringers won the individual top prize of the day, but the prize for the best team score went to The Posties, ably headed by Noel Reidy and assisted by Tony Stocks, Nicky Butt & Kelvin Hughes pictured above. There were many other prize winners, but the best prize of the day went to the Macmillan Cancer Support. The generosity of many of the businesses in Grayshott in donating the prizes, coupled to the willingness of the players to loosen their purse-strings meant that the magnificent sum of £1,500 was raised for the cause. After prize giving Dick thanked Hurtmore Golf Club who hosted the charity even, Liam Duncan for his help in organising the day and all the many sponsors, supporters and players who had combined to make the day such a great success.
