The girls have been preparing for the season ahead by attending Winter Indoor coaching sessions run by the club purely for Girls.

Grayshott started this initiative last year which has proved popular. Three girls, Tegan Louw, Izzy Woods and Rachael Hyndman have already been selected for the South East Hants Development Squad and Grayshott are entering a side into the Two Counties Youth League this season.

The club are lucky to have two dedicated coaches for Girls cricket, Sarah Nightingale and Will Cage who have both just recently passed their ECB Level 2 coaching exams.

The club are keen to attract new girl members to the game. Girls without any previous experience of the game are welcome and girls cricket is played with a soft ball. Practice night for Girls is on a Tuesday night at The Sportsfield in Grayshott from 6.30pm.
