Local MP for Hampshire North East the Rt Hon James Arbuthnot visited Grayshott Cricket Club on Saturday to see for himself the developments the club has been making over the last couple of years. James met up with Chairman Paul Roberts, Life Members Ken Williams and Peter Clapham together with Phil Bates Club Sponsor from Grayshott Pottery to discuss the progress the club had made.

The club had achieved Clubmark accreditation in 2005 and had been awarded Focus Club status last year. 2006 also saw the introduction of girls and women?s cricket for the first time at Grayshott

He saw for the first time a bowling machine in action and the new mobile cage purchased by the club recently with the support of Sport England and EHDC. The Grayshott Tigers, one of two Grayshott Under 9 teams were in action against the Bourne so James able to take in some action at the same time.
