A Magical Night to Remember

There will be magic in the air on the night of 20th July when Movies in Grayshott put on a special showing of the first Harry Potter movie, 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone', just hours before the last book in the series goes on sale.

Movies in Grayshott have teamed up with Grayshott Books to make it a night to remember. Anyone pre-ordering 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' from Grayshott Books will get a book voucher worth £5.00 and £1.00 discount off up to four tickets to the film show.

"We want to make this a real event," said Barbie McSean, one of the Movies in Grayshott organisers. "We hope that families will take advantage of the discount and make it an evening to remember, watching the movie, then staying up late to collect the book from Grayshott Books as soon as it is released at 1 minute past midnight." The film show will be held in Grayshott Village Hall, and refreshments and a bar will be available after the show for those waiting to collect their books.

Movies in Grayshott are hoping that some of the audience will turn up in fancy dress, and Grayshott Books are providing prizes for the best dressed Wizard and Witch. Fancy dress and Harry Potter accessories are available from another local business, Magical Rooms (Tel: 01428 608340), at discounted prices.

People are advised to book in advance to take advantage of the special offers. It is anticipated that this event will be very popular and tickets and books will go quickly.

Cinema tickets are priced at £5.00, or £4.00 for under 16s or £4.00 / £3.00 when pre-ordering a copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows from Grayshott Books (01428 604798).
