Beacon Hill Beer Festival
Goes From Strength To Strength

We are pleased to announce that the 5th Annual Beacon Hill Beer Festival is taking place on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th May 2007.

The venue for the Festival is the Village Club adjacent to the Hindhead Royal British Legion on Beacon Hill Road, Beacon Hill, Hindhead.

Over the last 5 years, this event just gets bigger, better and more successful so this year's theme is 'From Strength To Strength'.

To complement the theme, each one of the carefully selected 20+ award winning beers uniquely different in strength - so drinkers can literally go 'from strength to strength' too! All beers a championship quality, and are sourced from a wide range of quality brewers from around the UK. The Festival Committee spend months distilling the list down to the final 20 or so - and they take great care to try and offer something for everyone and all tastes. It would be hard to find a better selection under one roof in the GU26 area!

Our legendary selection of local (Hampshire) ciders is joined this year by Perry made with local fruit.

We will also be offering an eclectic 10+ selection of chilled bottled lagers from all corners of the world - from places as far flung as Finland, Trinidad and Peru !

We have a BBQ catering for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. This years BBQ will be very different in that we are planning to include home made, and locally sourced, water buffalo burgers, made to a special recipe by our in house chefs !

Live music from well known Surrey/Hants acts, provides the backdrop to the 2 day event, with Vic Cracknell and Something 4 The Weekend on Friday, and 3 acts on Saturday - The Flying Tigers ; James Deane ; Cryin' Out Loud.

This is a key event on the local social calendar, but one which also reaches out to places much further away.. and in previous years, some visitors have even travelled from London to enjoy a warm welcome and some fine entertainment.

Admission is £3.00 and this includes a souvenir glass. All ales/ciders are £1 a half pint, and world beers are £2 bottle.

The fun starts at around 6pm on the Friday, and from 12 midday on Saturday.
