On November 24th & 25th, 'Art in Clay' are holding their 11th Southern Pottery and Ceramics Show at the Maltings in Farnham. With a strong emphasis on creating vibrant homes and interiors this year, one of the 60 exciting exhibitors will be local business Grayshott Pottery, who will be presenting a selection of their 'one off' artist inspired designer pieces. Ceramics decorated by Janna Wareham, Marieka Snell and Donna Cockam will be on offer and other Grayshott pieces on show, will celebrate Grayshott Pottery's 100 year old associations with Mary Watt's and Compton Pottery (started at Watt's Gallery), as well as their newer associations with Dartington Pottery which is now also based in Grayshott.
The Maltings' 'Art In Clay' event in November, will also include artists and potters from further a-field, from countries such as France, Spain and Holland and will feature the work of many internationally acclaimed makers such as Ashraf Hanna, Deidre Burnett, Mary Wondraush.
Andy McInnes the show organiser said this week "We are looking forward to welcoming not only collectors and enthusiasts, who know to expect the vibrant high quality work, but also people looking to buy something different for themselves or their friends and family this Christmas".
Leaflets for the two day event (Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th November 10am to 5pm) can be obtained from Grayshott Pottery, School Road, Grayshott GU26 6LR and from the Maltings in Farnham. These leaflets offer £1 off the ticket price! Tickets are available from the door at the Maltings from £4.50 adult, £4.00 concessions and £1.50 children under 15.
