Grayshott.com has joined the growing list of websites nominated in the "best local area website" category in the 2007 Hantsweb Awards The Hantsweb Awards are run by Hampshire County Council and celebrate excellence in website design, accessibility and service. The awards are open to any website based in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The Awards have been running since 2002 and you can view an archive of all previous Awards. Over the years they have highlighted the best in online services to local communities as well as benefiting the interests of all those who have participated. Nominations for the awards are assessed by judges with expertise and experience in their chosen field. Overall they look for good practice, accessibility, ease of use, relevance, and, of course, great design. Winning websites and services are presented with a special Hantsweb Awards trophy and prizes at a VIP Ceremony. In the past this has been help at the Theatre Royal Winchester, Southampton Football Stadium and Intech. You can support the nomination of grayshott.com by adding your own nomination and comments about grayshott.com online by visiting the Hantsweb awards website. It only takes a few minutes and will help the judges to get a feel for how much our village website is valued. Posted by Peter Hatch |
